It was a good day at the office for Dutch GM Anish Giri as he made it the quarterfinals of the Chessable Masters. He topped Group B with 6 points. Giri said afterward: “I knew today that I would have to be fighting from the first game to the last so I was ready for that but I was quick lucky along the way.”
