Lack of sparring partner a problem: Mary Kom

Having scaled many a peak in her illustrious career, the Covid-19 pandemic has not deterred MC Mary Kom from focussing on her dream of winning Olympic gold. In a chat with TOI, Kom said that sparring is an integral part of boxing, "where we apply our learning, thoughts and counter. (Lack of a sparring partner) definitely been a problem." The Tokyo Games are now scheduled for 2021.
